Fishing

  • How is the fishing

Excellent, you are almost always sure of a good catch.

  • Do I need a guide on Buck Lake?

We do not feel a guide is needed. When you arrive we will sit down with you in your cabin and go over the lake map, let you know where the fish have been biting and what they have been hitting on. We also call you a week prior to your arrival to let you know what the hot lure or colour has been.

If you would like a guide, one is available for you. A whole day or half, it's up to you!

  • What species of fish can I expect to catch?

Our lakes have healthy populations of Walleye, Northern Pike and Jumbo Perch.

  • Can I take fish home?

Yes, you may take your limit of fish home with you.

  • What are the fishing regulations?

You can find the current fishing regulations at the link below. Buck Lake Lodges and Outposts are located in zone 7.
